What To Do When You Fall Off Track With Your Morning Routine

1 thing people don’t realize about morning routines.

You technically don’t NEED one.

Maybe that’s weird to say as a Morning Routine Coach + Speaker, but let me explain.

This week, I checked in on a morning routine client I worked with last year.

She was my ideal person to work with:

Had a flexible 9-5, started a nutrition coaching business on the side, and was highly motivated to have a consistent morning routine.

She absolutely killed it by starting a blog for her side business and consistently getting up early.

Now a year later, I checked in to see how she was doing.

Her response:

I’m not gonna lie, my morning routine has been non existent. I’ve honestly struggled SO hard to get out of bed in the mornings because of the weather. The winter was its own beast, but then now it’s so rainy and it’s really bumming me out! If you have any tips I’m all ears!

We’ve all been there whether we admit it publicly or not.

Even me!

This past winter, I was snoozing so much that I had to pull out the tactic of putting my alarm across the room because I had ZERO self-control!

No one has it together 100% of the time.

So what do we do when we fall off track with our morning routine?

Here are 3 questions I told her to ask herself:

  1. Why do I want a morning routine?

  2. Who am I doing it for? (You, work, side business, dog 🐶 )

  3. How could I use my morning to contribute to my Life Pie (3-6 life priorities)?

Go back to basics!

Because technically you don’t NEED a morning routine.

It’s a TOOL to do more things you want to do and make your life better.

Up to you if you want to use it ✨
